Here are my wall art pieces. All involve encaustic (wax) painting and my flameworked glass, sandblasted and oil painted. Most of the glass pieces are hollow. Some may be available. Clicking on the picture will show more photos and give a price if the piece is available for purchase.

If you have any questions about these pieces, or are interested in prints, please feel free to e-mail me at pipyr@pipyr.com. I am also happy to consider custom orders if you have something specific in mind.

This was a fun piece to make. Like many, I love the story of the phoenix, particularly as someone who works with fire on a regular basis. I wanted to capture a phoenix in his state of metamorphosis.

This piece waited for a while as a blank slate. The sculpting was done months before the piece was finished. One day, the inspiration to put it all together just struck me, and I did. I really love this piece, and it seems to have been a favorite amongst my customers.

I love creating flowing fins and working with bright pops of color, so this piece was born. This is one of those pieces that really lost something in the photos. It really should be seen in person to be appreciated.

6"x10"

This piece is utterly magical. In person, the centaur really seems to be levitating towards the stars, and when the lights go down, the piece glows with a spattering of "stars" in the background and the large star itself also glows.

This is one of my favorites. I have a thing for giraffes, and I also love finding unusual ways to represent body parts on my pieces. The chain neck seemed to be just perfect for a giraffe, and I love it. The colors are also one of my favorite palletes.

This sweet piece holds a pearly unicorn (as they all surely are) in front of a panel that suggests a deep forest; the kind that is so dense, it makes it difficult to tell midday from twilight. There is magic here.

This piece has a lot of dimensionality to it, and yet it has a whimsical touch as well, with it's glass connections. The bird himself has metallic green highlights that really need to be seen in person, and the pops of red really bring this piece together.

This piece was spontaneous. She just leapt from my torch, even though I was planning a very different piece at the time. This little nymph kept calling to me. She really, really wanted to break free of the ground...and fly.
